NBA: Arrest Warrant Issued Against DeMarcus Cousins

After TMZ released the audio clip where Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins (allegedly) threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend, the police department of Mobile, Alabama has issued an arrest warrant against him. It has been issued for a misdemeanour domestic violence charge. Christy West, the ex-girlfriend of Cousins is seeking a restraining order against Cousins. She said in her police reports and the court documents that he had threatened to kill her and also choked her previously. A clip from the phone call where Cousins threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend was released earlier by TMZ.

Cousins made those remarks after West told him that she wouldn’t allow their son to attend Cousins’ wedding with another woman, Morgan Lang. West, who felt threatened by Cousins’ remarks then went on to report that he had choked her earlier as well. The NBA and the Los Angeles Lakers have been notified this and they have released a statement saying they are looking into the investigation. This is going to shape up into the worst time of Cousins’ life so far. He will be arrested soon, or he will turn himself in. Let’s see how this shapes up to
