Known for her portrayal of Cuckoo in ‘Sacred Games’ (SG), actress Kubbra Sait has struck back at social media trollers through a video on Instagram.
Kubbra tells, “There was so much fury in me that it took me just an hour to write it. There were several times I felt that I should put a message out there that this (trolling) is not right. When people try to be funny, push you to get a favourable response or crave for attention by being mean to people. It never has been and will never be a good thing.”
“I have lauded Sonam (K Ahuja), Swara (Bhaskar) and so many brave women who take a stand for what they believe in. Since it bothers me, I decided to put my thoughts out.”
“After one year of the show SG releasing, they ask me about it. How does it matter to them whether what my sexuality is? I laugh it off because it’s my craft” she adds. Sait has over 2,50,000 followers on Insta.
Sait further states that at times she replies to the comments and seldom prefers to block such trolls when the messages cross the limits and at times replies to them.
Kubbra will be seen next in Alankrita Shrivastava’s comedy satire ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ along with Bhumi Pednekar and Konkona Sen Sharma.
