The Toronto Raptors are on the verge of achieving the unthinkable on Monday night. They have a chance to close out the NBA Finals series against the mighty Golden State Warriors at home in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. After going 1-1 in the first two games of the series, the Raptors won both games on the Warriors’ home floor in Oakland to take a near insurmountable 3-1 lead in the series. The only time a team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals was during the 2016 NBA Finals when LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers came roaring back from a 3-1 deficit and beat the 73 win Golden State Warriors on their home floor. The current version of the Golden State Warriors is far too injury-riddled and mentally exhausted to pull something like that off. However, if superstar forward Kevin Durant makes a miraculous return to action, the Warriors might have an outside chance to make a thrilling comeback in the series.
Moving back to the Toronto Raptors, they put forth two clinical performances in Games 3 and 4 and won what could end up being the final two games at the Oracle Arena. To celebrate that success, the Toronto Raptors twitter account shared a mashup video featuring the Raptors players and the opening credits of the 90s popular sitcom, Full House. That show was set in San Francisco.
