Udacity announced a new partnership with Google that they are making number of career courses for fresher graduate as well as professionals (mid career). All courses are free of cost and Udacity explain they will focus on helping employees improve their chances of getting a job, no matter whether that’s a first job. The two companies have worked together in the past and launched a trial course, “Networking for Career Success,” in March. Udacity provided scholarships toward the course to members of the Grow with Google program.
Now, the partners are expanding, along with 11 additional career courses all free to enroll in. These courses will cover resume and cover letter writing, personal branding, tips for GitHub and LinkedIn profile building, as well as interviewing for technical roles involving Python and Swift, front-end development, virtual reality, Android and even iOS.
Udacity VP of Careers Kathleen Mullaney writes “This next generation of talent will enter the job market possessing a diverse range of skills, but facing a lot of competition, and a rapidly-shifting hiring landscape, they’re going to need every resource they can get to make sure they’re able to compete successfully for available roles.”

Udacity has long partnered with industry partners, so it’s no surprise the company is now working with Google again. Google itself has worked with both Udacity and its competitor Coursera over the years for launching both career-oriented courses and more technical classes. But the Udacity project will really helpful for fresher graduates and mid-career professionals.
