Let’s make your own VR tour | Google Tour Creator

We all know Google always give surprises to their users. This time they announced something great in Google I/O. The tech giant launched a new virtual reality tool for people to create professional level VR content. The name of the tool is ‘Tour Creator’, the software, will help student, teachers, and anyone with a story to tell, to make a VR tour using imagery from Google Street View or their own 360 photos.

 
The aim of the tool is to make it easy to knit together 360-degree photos into a VR ready clickable guide with notes and voice. But it’s not just a slideshow it can have narration and interactive overlays also you can zoom any part of a photo.

Tour Creator tool is web-based, using a desktop PC browser to create the tour experiences and publish them to Google’s 3D content portal, Poly. Tour Creator can use Google Street View for 360-degree images. Google says the features are available to everyone who wants to create VR visual content. Whether that means creating tours of their school, their favorite park or their picnic spot.

I think this tool is going to change the field of virtual reality. Google’s Tour Creator is available now on standard web browsers.
